Bank M is a wholesale bank catering to the banking needs of large business of families with a minimum relationship value of US$2 million or its equivalent in the local currency. In less than a decade of existence, the bank has grown well to become the 8th largest bank in terms of balance sheet size and sixth in profitability in Tanzania.

In partnership with HDFC, India and IFC, Washington, Bank M has setup M.Mortgages, which has been licensed by the Bank of Tanzania as the first mortgage finance company in Tanzania.
The bank is a responsible corporate citizen engaged in philanthropic initiatives in the areas of community health, education, environment and support to talented local artists. These corporate social initiatives are undertaken by the bank in partnership with reputed international and regional organizations such as the Rotary Clubs, the Freemasons and AMREF, amongst others.
